Seminar Report Day 2 - Information is king, we live in an age of data

My mind is positively buzzing with new ideas after another day full of reminders and new insights into the world of online marketing. I’ve been in this business myself for a long time, yet there is so much more to learn. Wherever we may be in our lives, whatever we think we are good at, always remember that there is someone out there who knows more and that you should seek them out and learn from them

That’s how you get better, that’s how you become one of the best, and that’s how you create massive success for your own lives and empower yourself to create the dream life.

It’s such an important point to recognise that no matter how successful you are, always find yourself a mentor or coach, and let them keep you accountable for pursuing even more towards your ultimate fulfilment. I have 2 coaches and a mentor, and I can honestly say, they have helped me in ways beyond the money which they get paid for doing it.

Life is not a case of being lucky or being in the right place at the right time. I’ve heard this plenty of times where people I know, even close friends, have often times just said well you were in the right place at the right time, but that’s not really why I’m successful. Today, Bill Gates was quoted, and this is something I’ve always replied with, in his words:

“First, I was in the right place at the right time. Second, I saw the vision. Third, and most important, I took action.”

That’s the same with me, my story started with a single news article on Yahoo and everything lead on from there. Was I just lucky in reading that article? Perhaps, however I took massive action from it, and noticed the opportunity and took it. After all, I was not the only person to read that same article, perhaps thousands of people read it, but only a minute fraction did anything with that information.

This leads onto the other point which was made so much more relevant today, and that we are truly in an age of information being the king. Both from a marketing perspective to contain information about potential customers, but also from the point of view that digital information can be packaged into digital products and sold digitally for real cash!

20 years ago that whole notion would have sounded absurd to any self respecting entrepreneur, and almost all would have dismissed that idea as nothing more than a virtual waste of time. Nowadays, with nothing more than pushing a few electrons via a physical keyboard, you can make millions of dollars.

To the many, this might seem absolutely impossible, or even down right ridiculous, however, there are people who have done it, and they are extremely good at it. If they found a way, so can you. They weren’t born knowing this information, in fact this notion didn’t even exist when they were born, they learned it, and you can learn it too.

Another point I take away from this, and that is, those who seek, shall always gain. If you don’t even begin to look for a way out of your current situation to create your life the way you want it, then how do you expect to start on the journey towards your ultimate freedom?

Martin Luther King Jr said it best when he said, “Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.”

Here’s the deal, even if you had no faith, no belief in any of the self empowerment tools or coaching programs, would it really, REALLY, hurt you to go for yourself to one of the free seminars happening all around London, and hear it with your own ears? Rather than take someone else’s opinion of it, meaning you are subscribing to someone else’s reality.

Go ahead, take a leap, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain, even one step further towards your dream life, is one step more than you are at today.
