I've noticed that in life, everything I do and go for, I do it with extreme drive and I always go for number one, and this lead to me thinking about the significance of aiming high vs. aiming for just ok, or as in the title suggests, the Number 1 vs. Number 2 mentality. So think about this for a second, are you a number 1 or a number 2? I'm not saying that you have to be number 1, no, on the contrary. What I am saying, is that you are deadly honest with yourself and if you are a number 2, be the best number 2 you can be in your world and your reality.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Mindset

Goals and Objectives

Unconscious Mind

Motivation

For the past 8 days I have been in the Tivoli Marina Hotel in Vilamoura helping out with the Billionaire Bootcamp training for Christopher Howard trainings and ThinkBig Education. This is their flagship training seminar and it is truly an amazing experience. Those of you who have followed me, (and I know you are out there), know that I was participating myself back in November in Fiji. It was such an epic adventure and having shared with you all the learning's I got from that, I knew I had to go back to crew and help out.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Contribution

Giving Back

Growth

seminars

I'm back home after an incredible journey of even more self discovery and even though I've been waking up the last 4 nights repeatedly, getting restless sleep and my energy is totally drained, I've been refilled by the sheer power of positivity from my fellow life students at the Chris Howard training programs. Today was the last day of the intensive platform skills course and also the day of my official graduation from the Academy of Wealth and Achievement. What a journey it has been. I remember when I first stepped foot into the IBIS hotel back in March 2009 that I had no idea what BTS was about. I was however prepared to leave all my preconceptions outside the door and go into this seminar with an open mind and an open heart. What hit me was like a ton of bricks smashing down from a 100ft fall. It hit hard and smashed open many issues that were present in my life that I had either swept underneath the carpet, or I was even totally unaware of them myself. What happened the next 3 days throughout the Breakthrough to Success weekend would change my life forever, and forever for the better.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Mindset

Limiting Beliefs

Attitudes

Motivation

Fears

seminars

This is one of the Christopher Howard training courses and I can say from firsthand experience and from hearing about other people's opinions that this is certainly one of the best trainings on the market for learning to be exquisite presenting from a stage. This isn't any old presentation training like you might imagine. This is one that utilizes the highly respect science of NLP to create powerful presenting strategies that would knock the socks off any other presenter.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Attitudes

seminars

Learning

Take for instance, addictions. I think in many people's meanings, there is a negative association with that word "addiction", however did you realise that we are all in fact addicted right now. You may be wondering what to, well this is where the science comes into play. We have these molecules in our body call neuropeptides. Neuropeptides are small protein-like molecules used by neurons to communicate with each other.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Attitudes

Growth

Science

I had previously considered doing this a few years back, however what held me back was simply the fact that I felt I wasn't fit enough to do it. Today I realised that reason I gave myself was total bullshit. The real conversation my unconscious mind was having with my conscious mind, was something on the lines of, "it's a difficult hike to take, and I'm not prepared to put in the effort to train to get fit for it, because I do not value that time as well spent". Wow, now I bet we all have these conversations all the time, however for a good part of the time, we'd rather not admit that to ourselves because it's much easier to believe that we aren't good enough.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Limiting Beliefs

Attitudes

Unconscious Mind

Seeking the Difference that makes the Difference

I've come to realise that for the most part, there is a majority of people who look for similarities in life rather than to look for difference. I think that part is obvious, similarities are a known thing, and therefore even if it is not entirely safe, it is manageable. Difference however is a much trickier thing to deal with. I mean, it is difference that separates people, it is difference that creates wars and problems between countries, and between friends. In fact ever since man learnt how to walk on two legs, it is these differences that have create a separatist way of thinking amongst us human beings, however, did you ever stop to think that this very difference is also the prime cause for Mans continual search for truth and the advancement of civilization. Think about it for second, there are more than enough examples of people seeking out similarities in the world. When people immigrate to a new city, they tend to find homes near people who are similar. When visiting another country, people feel at ease when they encounter people from the same background.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Mindset

Perceptions

Attitudes

Culture

Last weekend I signed up to do a shark dive in the Blue Planet Aquarium tank in Liverpool. We were very fortunate to have this opportunity as there are only a small handful of places where you can actually do this in Europe. So the day started off in Greenwich meeting the UDare group and together we set off on the journey, but not before we sort out the beeping door that wouldn't shut! After resolving that, our journey begun and soon we'd be heading down the long highway to our northern destination. After making a few minor driving mistakes and having to turn back after realising wed gone a little too far north, we finally reached the aquarium 4 hours later!
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Latest News

Adventure

I'm sure you know that already, but have you thought about the implications of the words you use? The unconscious mind is an extremely powerful creative tool that will manifest all that it wants and needs, but if you input "bad data" into that unconscious mind, especially at early ages, you will invariably do more harm than good. What do I really mean by this? Well the classic example is that our minds will focus on things, and we get what we focus on. In fact, if a single thought entered your mind, even if you didn't think it was relevant, it is.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Unconscious Mind

Growth

Parenting

Culture

One of the keys to Achieving Massive Goals is executing Extreme Focus

Sometimes when you are striving to get somewhere, you often times don't really know what you are doing, and through a series of trial and error, you get somewhere you are happy with. This would probably involve making mistakes and correcting them, and throughout all these trials, you would have learnt some really valuable lessons. Recently I rediscovered something which I recognised as a key to my past success. It is only through this realisation now, that I can become aware of it, and apply it with volition in the future. What is this key I hear people asking; well it's the power of Extreme Focus. When I say this, I don't mean focussing on something 95%, I mean focussing on this 100%, even when you are sleeping. You might think it ridiculous to even be focussing on something when you are sleeping, but I can assure you, you can teach your mind to do this.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Mindset

Goals and Objectives

Attitudes

I read an article about some research done in the UK which concluded that 88% of people break their resolutions within 2 weeks, and rest trickle off over time. Do you really want to set yourself up for failure? If so, where else in life are you doing this? New Years resolutions are your own personal fail list. We've all done it before in good faith, however was there ever one that succeeded? Ask yourself the honest question, why do you still make them? I stopped several years ago because I understood that if you want to do something, and you really did want to do it, then nothing would stop you from doing it, and nothing would be needed to motivate you to do it. You see, resolutions are kind of like a way to tell other people that it's ok to fail, when really it isn't.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Attitudes

Motivation

Where else in life do you leave things till the last minute, and what is this costing you? I was doing some food shopping a couple of days ago at a big name brand, and I'll tell you, it was like a war zone. People were rushing around like headless chickens trying to get all they can, in order to fulfil some need they have in their lives. I'm all for giving thanks to the loved ones, but seeing the stress and aggravation on people's faces really made me wonder if these people really realised what was going on in their lives. This time of year should not be about stress or aggravation, so what are you doing that Is cause this in your life? Seriously, take stock and think about it for a second. If this is such a lovely wonderful and loving time, in what way are you not being the cause of your own world such that you've allowed external influences to make it a stressful time for you! Anyways, as with most of you, and myself included, it is also a time to take stock on the year before, and think about the year ahead. I've had an incredible year and I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of this amazing experience.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Giving Back

Adventure

I've had experiences which can only be described as life changing and challenges that I thought would stretch me, which they did, but in a way that allowed me to grow and expand as well. Some of my favourite experiences include shooting downtown in New York City, the Billionaire Bootcamp day 6 party on the beach, shooting with the amazing team Aleesha put together in Los Angeles, an unforgettable night of mayhem orchestrated by mr Kam in Toronto, the intensity and charm of a Tokyo diner Shabu Shabu, an evening with new friends, old friends and family in Hong Kong. The sun is setting outside and the temperature is finally coming down. Of all the places I've been, Hong Kong's mass transit system is by far the most efficient and effective I have seen anywhere in the world. Just thought I'd mention it.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Fun and Enjoyment

Latest News

seminars

When you change your environment, you will inevitably change

I have a number of friends who have moved overseas and it's really interesting to talk to them about changes they have made in order to adapt to where their new environment is. To give you a quick update, I'm now in Sydney and I have 2 really good friends of mine who have made a new life here and I'm looking forward to catching up properly with them later on today. I've come here after a gruelling and totally amazing 7 days training in Fiji at this Billionaire Bootcamp seminar I have mentioned several times before. This was one of the most intensive things I've done and it truly challenged my perception of the world and what is possible when you look at the bigger picture. One of the challenges we faced was a classic 'The Apprentice' style game where we had to trade items from a paperclip up to as high a value as possible. We had 2 hours and a whole lot of intention as we set out into the unknowing public and after setting up the plan and idea we forged ahead. I was made the team leader and I learnt a lot about leading too. I needed to be more assertive. Though I had some nice ideas on how to play big, there were people who were only looking to play a small game and my voice got lost in the foray. All due respect to them for going out to get single upward trades because we still came back with over $300 worth
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Attitudes

Values

seminars

Environment

Day 3 of Billionaire bootcamp and I'm still here learning

Well it's day 3 of this pretty intesive training and it's going very well here in the beautiful island of Fiji. What a wonderful lovely place it is and the Fijian people here are so nice it's totally unreal. They really are the friendliest people I think I've ever met. Not dogged by the negativity of big city life, they lead amazingly fulfilled lives and spread joy litereally everywhere all the time. You gotta love them for it. The training has been pretty tough so far and I can say that this probably isn't even the deep deep tough stuff yet. I think we are still just getting started.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Latest News

seminars

I might have said something like life is good and fun, and business is still going steady. Now that is still good by any standards, but actually things have really moved forward a lot. Really, I never would have thought that I'd be a director of 5 companies, been part of a conference where the Dalai Lama, Sir Richard Branson and FW de Klerk spoke, and preparing for a round the world trip where I'll be dropping by 7 cities over 3 continents, with 6 fashion photo shoots to do, and culminating all in Billionaire Bootcamp.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Imagination

Growing beyond your Pool

I'm thinking back to a movie I've seen a couple of times called Big Fish. In this movie, the protagonist is a character that finds himself looking for more in life and embarks on a journey to discover the world around him. One quote which I'm thinking of in particular goes like this: 'Has it ever occurred to you that maybe you're not too big? That maybe this place is just too small?', Edward Bloom, the main character asks this question of Karl, a giant. At the times when we become seekers and begin on our own journeys, we start to expand our experiences in life and consequently our minds expand. Even a simple holiday to an unknown culture will inevitably expand your mind through the experiences you will gain from being in that foreign land. One of the most difficult things about moving forward in life is that more often than not, there are people holding you back. In fact, it is often the case that there are many more people holding you back, than there are those pulling you forward. I've heard this from many people, and I've personally experienced this as well.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Patterns

Attitudes

Fears

It's time to act, Day 4, implementation Day, moving beyond words

This is the last day of the Engage Today 2009 conference and what a spectacular event this has been. I applaud Simple Wealth on running such an incredible event with a speaker line up that was simply superstar quality. You get a funny mixture of feelings after a great event like this, something inside stirs up emotions of relief, sorrow and excitement all in one. Relief that the long days and concentration is over, sorrow at leaving new friends made, and excitement about the future and applying the knowledge into action. The last day was full of surprises, just when I thought there would be no more real information to be learnt, I am stunned once more with excellent presentations from Michael Drew and Vishen Lakhiani. I don't think I'll ever forget the synchronised singing and dancing to Bohemian Rhapsody for a long time.
Click Here to Read Entire Blog

Latest News

Actions

Conference
