PokerFaces.net was originally an online poker community website, and it was based around the idea of people putting their 'Poker Faces' on and allowing people to rate it.

A bit like AmIHotorNot, is this a good Poker Face or not.

Anyways, it worked for while, but ultimately I discovered an untapped niche in the whole poker and dating theme, and that's how this new version came about.

Really it was from high profile couplings that were starting to take place in the world of offline poker. There were stories of people getting together and playing poker and falling in love at the same time.

I figured, the typical online poker player is going to be spending a fair bit of time at the poker table and computer, so why not get some side benfits and find someone to love as well!

Well PokerFaces.net was relaunched as a full online dating website in June 2006 and it is hoped that this will grow to become the place where poker players find true love!
